  20. But look at their selling prices; they are semi-reasonable (maybe
  21. 5 dollars under Waldensoftware). These numbers seem to be in-line with
  22. typical software prices, though I am not up on the games market specifically.
  23. Typically, software sells from producer to distributor at 30-50% off of list;
  24. you buy it at maybe 10-20% above that price. Naturally, this varies
  25. considerably depending on software type, dealer, how many distributors in the
  26. chain between the producer and you, etc.; but the end result is that
  27. those numbers aren't so far-fetched for the difference between manufacturer
  28. list and street price... (Of course, if a manufacturer comes on-line and
  29. claims those are bogus list prices, *then* we have reason to worry... :-)
